Cambodia’s Minister of Information said that the Ministry was committed to continuing to uphold the four basic rights of children in the cause of creating human resources with knowledge, morality, virtue, good behavior and ethics.

H.E Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information made the remarks at the opening of the 2024 Children's Music and Song Festival on Sunday May 12, 2024 at Ministry of Information.

Minister Neth Pheaktra stated that the Children's Music and Song Festival organized by the Ministry of Information was an opportunity for boys and girls to showcase their talents through the art of music and songs that are characteristic for children. He further said that education was linked to the art of music.

The Minister of Information also said that through the experience in countries around the world, art really has had a strong influence on the mind of every individual.

Mr. Neth Pheaktra stressed that in 2024, the National Council of Cambodia for Children has introduced the theme for Cambodia Children's Day 2024 under the theme "Investing in Children Today to Increase Human Capital in the Age of Digital Revolution" as caring for children always in the heart of the Royal Government, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
