Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey Say Chhum, Acting Head of State of Cambodia and President of the Senate, told Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra, President of the Pheu Thai Party that Cambodia was thankful to the Royal Government of Thailand for helping facilitate the daily stay and work of Cambodian workers living and working in Thailand and for providing Thai language training and vocational training to Cambodian workers. 

Samdech Say Chhum met with the President of the Pheu Thai Party and also the daughter of Mr. Thaksin SinaWatra, in Phnom Penh on March 18th.

The Acting Head of State also expressed his deep gratitude to the generous will of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for helping to establish the Kampong Chheu Teal and Kampong Speu Institute of Technology and provide scholarships to Cambodian students to do master's and doctoral degrees. The Acting Head of State stressed that the visit of Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra to Cambodia really reflected the attention to strengthen and expand the relationship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries.

Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed her deep thanks to Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey Say Chhum for allowing the delegation to pay a courtesy call. development and promote people's interests through tourism.

She informed the Acting Head of State about the work her party has done to promote relations and cooperation in all fields between the two countries, especially tourism, which is a source of strong economic growth of all countries. Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra, President of the Pheu Thai Party arrived in Phnom Penh on March 18 for a one-day visit to Cambodia at the invitation of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party and former Prime Minister of Cambodia.
