The Cambodian Minister of Health thanks Hungary for its continued support for the Ministry of Health in promoting the well-being of the Cambodian people

Dr. Cheang Ra, Cambodian Minister of Health told H.E.Tibor BALOGHDI, the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary at a working meeting on Monday February 12 that Hungarian support has contributed to the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia to achieve the global health goals, which have been prescribed in the first-phased pentagonal strategy of the royal government of the 7th mandate. 

The Minister of Health also mentioned the good cooperation between the governments of Cambodia and Hungary. He reminded that in 2022 during the Covid-19 outbreak, the Republic of Hungary had provided more than 450,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines and 100,000 doses of Moderna vaccines to the Royal Government of Cambodia.

For his part, H.E. Tibor BALOGHDI, the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary said that Hungary would continue to strengthen cooperation on health sector with Cambodia in order to promote the well-being of the Cambodian people. 

The Ambassador said that the strengthening of cooperation with the Ministry of Health would be carried out through the exchange of technical experts and researchers, the provision of scholarship and the sharing of information technology in in the health sector.
