The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia highly appreciated the contribution of the Olympic Council of Asia to the development of sports in Cambodia, including Cambodian martial arts.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, expressed the appreciation when he met with the Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Mr. Tang Gordon, in Phnom Penh on Tuesday April 23.
The Cambodian Premier also said that the relevant institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the private sector would be ready to coordinate and cooperate with the Council in organizing this martial arts event.
Mr.Tang Gordon said that his council would help Cambodia in the organization of the 2029 Asian Youth Games and in including more important sporting events in the competition program.
The Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia spoke of his Council’s contribution to the development of sports, both financial and technical, especially for Cambodian athletes in the field of sailing and gymnastics and to be trained in China.
