Australian Ambassador spoke highly of the Australia-Cambodia relations

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, expressed his appreciation for the progress of cooperation between Cambodia and Australia over the years.

The Cambodia Prime Minister received a courtesy call from His Excellency Justin Kevin Whyatt, Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia in Phnom Penh on Monday April, 8th.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his appreciation for the Australian government’s support for priority areas and stressed the need to promote the connection between the private sectors of the two countries.  The Cambodian Prime Minister was confident that the   relations between the two countries would be better for the mutual benefit of the people. 

For his Part, His Excellency Justin Kevin Whyatt highly appreciated the good relations between Australia and Cambodia. He expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation of the ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia in strengthening the ties and cooperation between the two countries.

The Australian Ambassador also informed Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet about the progress of the cooperation results that Samdech Thipadei and the Prime Minister of Australia recently discussed in Australia. 

The Ambassador informed Samdech Thipadei about the continued support for cooperation in the field of education by continuing to provide additional scholarships to Cambodian students and by forming connection and cooperation between Australian and Cambodian universities. The Ambassador reaffirmed the Australian government’s continuation of cooperation between the two countries on a number of priority areas, including agriculture, investment, trade, infrastructure, green energy and defense and security.
