Cambodia calls on US-ASEAN Business Council to increase trade and investment

Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, called on the US-ASEAN Business Council to consider the possibility of increasing trade and investment activities in various potential sectors in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The call was made when Samdech Sar Kheng held a meeting with a delegation from the US-ASEAN Business Council last Thursday via video conference.

Samdech Sar Kheng said that the close cooperation in key areas such as security, trade, health and finance and technologies will continue to create and expand opportunities for bilateral and multilateral cooperation to contribute to the rapid restoration of the socio-economic situation for Cambodia and the United States, in the ASEAN region and the world as a whole. States-ASEAN Business Council to consider the possibility of increasing trade and investment activities in various potential sectors in the Kingdom of Cambodia, saying that cooperation in the areas was under the responsibility of the Ministry of Interior to support the achievement

of economic goals of the Royal Government of Cambodia, and support for the performance of Cambodia as the chair of ASEAN rotating year 2022 is also effective, he added.
