Cambodia is ready to cooperate to promote investment between Cambodia and Indonesia to be better

Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, said that Cambodia is ready to further boost investment cooperation with Indonesia.

The point was made when H.E Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador of Indonesia to Cambodia and his colleagues paid a courtesy call

on Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, on March 26.

The Deputy Prime Minister briefed the guests on major ongoing and potential investment projects on roads, highways, railways, waterways, Techo Funan cannel, ports and logistics. 

The Deputy Prime Minister lauded the good cooperation between the Indonesian Embassy in Cambodia and the Council for the Development of Cambodia and said that Cambodia was ready to further enhance investment cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the Indonesian Ambassador said that he would do his best to strengthen and expand cooperation in promoting investment between the two countries, starting with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Investment Promotion.

The Ambassador asked the Council for the Development of Cambodia to participate in the health fair in Sihanoukville and business forums planned by the Indonesian Embassy in Cambodia in the near future to highlight potential investment opportunities in Cambodia and Indonesia.

The Ambassador also hoped that through the good cooperation between the Indonesian Embassy in Cambodia and the Council for the Development of Cambodia, the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in the field of investment between the two countries, would be further strengthened.
