More than 21 million holiday goers travelled to different tourist destinations all over Cambodia during the four-day Khmer New Year celebration.
According to reports of the municipal and provincial Departments of Tourism, the number of Cambodians and foreign tourists visiting different attractive sites across the country during the traditional Khmer New Year, which started from April 13 to 16 increased significantly.
The sources said that the number of people visiting the National New Year 2024 has increased to over 21 million in 2024 from over 13 million in 2023.
