The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, said that Cambodia and Laos have had to promote activities to enhance the relations of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet made the suggestion when he met with Mr. Khambai Damlat, President of the Lao-Cambodian Friendship Association, in Vientiane on Monday March 25. 2024.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet praised the work of the Cambodia-Laos and Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association and the President of the Lao-Cambodia Friendship Associations for his contribution to strengthening relations between Cambodia and Laos.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged the two friendship associations to continue to promote people-to-people contacts between the two countries, especially those living in the border provinces. The Cambodian Premier stressed the importance of communication between the peoples of the two countries, which will further promote trade, tourism and other important sectors of the two countries.
The President of the Association highly appreciated Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet’s visit to Laos and was confident that the visit would contribute to further strengthening and expanding the cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
The President of the Association reported to Samdech Thipadei on some important activities and the structure of the Lao-Cambodian Friendship Association.
