Cambodian Prime Minister is in Vientiane for a two-day official visit

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, arrived in Vientiane on Monday, March 25 for an official visit to Laos.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the visit from March 25 to 26, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet paid a courtesy call on Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao PDR, and held bilateral talks with his counterpart, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone. 

According to the press release, the two sides discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation across a wide range of fields. They also exchanged views on sub-regional, regional, and international issues of common interest and concern. 

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet received a courtesy call from Mr. Khambai DAMLAT, President of the Lao-Cambodian Friendship Association and met with Cambodian Business Club members and Cambodian students.

The press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that several documents of cooperation were also signed during the Cambodian Premier’s visit to Laos.

The press release stressed that the visit will further deepen bilateral cooperation under the spirit of good neighborhood, traditional friendship, and the comprehensive and long-lasting strategic partnership between the two countries. At the same time, it will strengthen foundations for growth and prosperity for the benefit of the two peoples.
