The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, said that peace has been an important element for national building.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of facilities at Wat Mony Ratanaream in Pursat City, Pursat Province on March 31st, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said that but for peace, the nation could not be built and prosperous.
The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that when the country was at war, all the pagodas would be used as a place to treat wounded soldiers or to store logistics.
He added that religious freedom has also been important, and if there has been no religious freedom, people would not be able to build pagodas to practice religious ceremonies.
