Cambodian Prime Minister welcomes businessmen and investors from all the countries around the world

The Prime Minister of Cambodia,SamdechThipadei Hun Manet said that the royal government of Cambodia has opened its arms to investors and businessmen from all the countries around the world.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, told a gathering of Cambodians living in Australia and New Zealand on Sunday March 3, 2024 that he welcomed not only Chinese investors, but investors of all nationalities.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet further said that in the past six months, Cambodia’s macroeconomic stability has improved and administrative bodies at both national and sub-national levels have functioned in a more effective and sustainable way since the new government took office.

Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister of Cambodia stressed that Cambodia has received 172 investment projects, both domestic and foreign, with an investment cost of nearly US$ 4 billion and more than 190,000 jobs have consequently been generated by the projects.

The Prime Minister told the gathering of Cambodians overseas living in Australia and New Zealand that he always encouraged all companies to work with the private sector for the benefit of the people of Cambodia.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and his spouse have been in Melbourne, Australia from March 1 to 5 for a special summit to celebrate the 50 years of cooperation between Australia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
