The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, said that the official verification database of the Royal Government, verify.gov.kh, which has recently received the ASEAN Digital gold medal Award, has been playing a key role in providing all kinds of public services to benefit the Cambodian people.
The statement was made when he presided over the opening ceremony of the first Digital Government Forum on Monday March 11, 2024.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet highlighted the major achievements of the Royal Government in promoting and implementation of digitalization in the collection of taxes and non-tax revenue, in the
application of state property management systems, business registration
and licensing systems, digital or electronic education systems,
identification management systems t and land and vehicle management
systems.
The Cambodia Data Exchange, a key platform that has been used by public and private sectors to share and exchange data on common ecosystems, has also won international awards in the Future of Government Award 2022 and this is another pride of the Royal Government of Cambodia for its efforts in digitalization in the government sector, added the Cambodian Premier.
