Environment Minister: EU is a good cooperation partner with Cambodia

Minister of Environment, H.E Say Sam Al said that the European Union is a good cooperation partner of Cambodia in addressing climate change.

The remarks were made when the Minister held a meeting with the EU Delegation to Cambodia,H.E Ms Carmen Moreno, Ambassador of the European Union, Mr. Christian Berger, Ambassador of Germany, Tina Redshaw, Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Markus Burli, Head of Cooperation. Switzerland, Fabrice Etienne, Chargé d'Affaires of the French Embassy, ​​and Clemens Beckers, EU Delegation, on October 28, 2021.

H.E Say Sam Al emphasized the more cohesive cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union on improving the livelihoods of local communities, strengthening high-value livestock in the market and for commercial purposes for the European market, educating human resources that provide employment opportunities for people, waste management techniques and the use of renewable energy.

H.E Say Sam Al confirmed his presence at the upcoming World Conference on Climate COP26 to be held in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
