The leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam thanked Cambodia for sending troops to join the military parade in Ho Chi Minh city.

The parade was held to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.

H.E To Lam, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam extended the thanks at a meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of the Cambodian People's Party.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked the General Secretary of the Party, the government and the people of Vietnam for inviting him to participate in this historic event of Vietnam and for their warm welcome and hospitality to him and his delegation.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also congratulated the General Secretary of the Party, the Government and the people of Vietnam on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Reunification of Vietnam.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam on April 29 to attend the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification organized by the Vietnamese government from April 29 to 30.
