H.E Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, met with H.E YIP Derek, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, and his colleagues at the Ministry’s office on April 29, 2025.

The two sides exchanged views on establishing bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and collaboration to promote direct flight connections from Australia to Cambodia, with the aim of facilitating tourism and business travel for Australian and Cambodian people.

In addition, it provided convenience for Australians to visit Cambodia, which is full of tourism potential and a country with peace, security, and good political stability, which is increasingly considered a popular tourist destination for Australians.
