Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, reaffirmed that job creation remains a top priority for the Royal Government of Cambodia to drive economic growth nationwide.
The Cambodian Prime Minister made the point when he held a get-together with civil servants, employees, and workers at the Preah Sihanouk Autonomous Port on Thursday, May 1 in the province of Preah Sihanouk.
The Cambodian Prime Minister said that the Royal government of Cambodia is committed to supporting job creation, improving salaries, and ensuring better welfare for workers and the broader population—key factors in strengthening the national economy.
As of the first quarter of 2025, Cambodia had over 45,000 operational enterprises, providing jobs to 1.8 million workers, according to the Cambodian Premier.
In his congratulatory message addressed on the occasion of the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1, 2025, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, said that the Royal Government has pursued trade policies to attract more investment to create jobs and promote sustainable growth for the common benefit of the people, especially workers and employees.
