The Cambodian Prime Minister: Cambodia would not allowed investment in the production of e-cigarettes
Chuon Bona | ថ្ងៃទី 05 ខែ ឧសភា ឆ្នាំ 2025Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that Cambodia would not allowed investment in the production of e-cigarettes even if they are produced for export.
The statement was made when Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet presided over the official launching of the “National Plan to Fight Cancer 2025-2030” on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stressed that through media coverage, many school students were using vapes and urged all relevant parties tostrictly control the use of e-cigarettes.
The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that Cambodia has welcomed all types of investment, but not investments in electric cigarettes.
