The leader of Timor-Leste hopes that Cambodia-Timor will strengthen and expand bilateral relations in the fields of economy, trade and investment.

Addressing a joint press conference with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate, H.E José Ramos-Horta, President of Timor-Leste expressed his warm welcome to Samdech Techo Hun Sen‘s official visit to Timor-Leste.

He considered Samdech Techo Hun Sen a hero of Cambodia and the founder of Cambodian peace.

The President of Timor-Leste appreciated Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s strong determination to save the Cambodian people and Cambodia in the most difficult times, from pain and hardship to peace.  

The President of Timor-Leste also considered Samdech Techo Hun Sen a good friend of him and Timor-Leste's, and hoped that the two countries would be able to strengthen and expand bilateral relations in the fields of economy, trade and investment, and Samdech Techo Hun Sen would continue to help Timor-Leste develop.
