The ASEAN Expo was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Phnom Penh on April 27, 2024 with high-quality products from ASEAN member states on display.
H.E Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Expo.
In his opening remarks, the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the event in showcasing ASEAN's high-quality products and craftsmanship, raising awareness of ASEAN among the public and further promoting cultural exchanges, heritage and diversity traditional ASEAN’s foods.
The exhibition is also part of the economic diplomacy in line with the vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's Economic Diplomacy Strategy, especially the Economic Diplomacy Strategy for 2024-2028.
