A delegation from Cambodia was in Singapore for the 4th ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting held last Thursday.

The delegation was led by H.E Chea Vandeth, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.

The ASEAN Digital Ministers' Meeting was attended by the Ministers of ASEAN Member States, Timor-Leste and ASEAN partners, including the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, India, the United States and the International Telecommunication Union.

During the meeting, Cambodia’s Minister held bilateral meetings with Thailand, Japan, Singapore, the International Telecommunication Union and Timor-Leste.

The government verification platform verify.gov.kh, developed by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia, won the Gold Medal in a significant competition at the regional level.

The ASEAN Digital Ministers 'Meeting aimed at making ASEAN a leading digital community and an economic bloc powered by secure digital services, technologies and ecosystems in line with the ASEAN Digital Master Plan.
