Nearly 3,000 government officials and university professors and students have been familiarized with the Funan-Techo canal project

Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol gave a lecture on the Funan Techo canal project at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia in Phnom Penh last Saturday.

This lecture was made to disseminate information related to the Funan Techo canal project and to reject all misinformation about the project.   

Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chantholstressed the mission of the new Royal Government, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet to transform the country into a high-income country by 2050. 

H.E Sun Chanthol claimed that SamdechThipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia and Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, always highlighted the potential of investment in Cambodia on every trips to friendly countries. 

H.E Sun Chanthol explained in detail the technical characteristics, environmental impact and economic benefits of the Funan-Techo canal project.
