The offspring and the siblings of 20 soldiers killed in a recent ammo explosion will be allowed to enroll in the army.
The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, made the statement on his official Facebook page on Monday May 6, 2024.
The Cambodian Prime Minister said that the relatives of the late 20 soldiers would serve as members of the armed forces to follow the footstep of their fathers, brothers or relatives.
On April 27, 2024, an ammunition explosion occurred at the 3rd Military Command in Kampong Speu province due to a technical problem, killing 30 soldiers and wounding several others.
