Cambodian Minister of Health, H.E Mam Bunheng met with Mr. Andre SPIEGEL, new Director of the Pasteur Institute of Cambodia,
at the Ministry of Health on Tuesday this week.
The Minister of Health requested the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge to continue to cooperate and support the Cambodian health sector, especially on human resource training and scientific research in infectious diseases. Mr. Andre SPIEGEL has replaced the outgoing director of the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge Ms. Laurence BARIL.
The Pasteur Institute of Cambodia has a main mission in the field of public health, scientific research on infectious diseases, laboratory and human resource development. Pasteur Institute of Cambodia is divided into 9 sections: Vaccination, Biomedical analysis, Virology, Immunology, Epidemiology, Public Health, Food Safety, Environment, Department of Medicine, Department of Malaria Laboratory and Administration Division.
