On May 1, 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training celebrated the 138th Anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1 at the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, under the chairmanship of H.E Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training.
As the Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, which is an executive body of the Royal Government in implementing the enterprise competition program as a safe community, he said that the transformation of an enterprise into a safe community requires employers and employees to represent as unions continue to understand their respective roles and responsibilities better and try to get closer to each other.
The Labor Minister explained in detail the eight compliance points, which are the points used for evaluation in an enterprise competition program as a safe community for the participants to better understand. In addition, he explained the importance and necessity of the successful implementation of an enterprise program as a safe community, a program for making progress for workers and employers, and attracting more investors to invest in Cambodia, which will make the economy grow steadily.
The Minister stressed that the Royal Government of the seventh mandate, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has high ambitions, not only to attract foreign investors, but the Royal Government whished the factory to be safe, which is the desire of all parties for the progress and prosperity of both parties, which requires the participation of workers or unions, employers and the Royal Government, which is an indispensable element for Cambodia.
