The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, expressed his belief that the relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam would continue to be stronger, no matter how the regional and global situation has developed.
The Cambodian leader made the remarks at a reception hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hanoi on Monday night, December 11, 2023.
In his speech, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his satisfaction with Vietnam's economic growth despite the crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and other issues.
The Cambodian Prime Minister also mentioned the results of the talks between Samdech with the Prime Minister and other senior leaders of Vietnam and expressed his satisfaction with the discussions on cooperation and comprehensive relations between Cambodia and Vietnam.
Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister also expressed hope that the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of Vietnam would continue to successfully implement all Memorandum of Understanding and further set out directions to promote socio-economic development and prosperity for both countries.
Over the past 56 years after its establishment, relations and cooperation between the two countries have continuously been enhanced.
