The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has ordered the Ministry of Health and relevant institutions to review the strengthening of the capacity of the treatment of COVID-19 patients in various centers or hospitals.
The order comes as thousands of COVID-19 patients continue to be hospitalized in capital-provincial hospitals.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that the total number of infected people, was 118,522, of whom 2,788 dead, equal to 2.35% of the total number of cases.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen added that it does not depend on the number of cases or deaths, but to look at the percentage of the total population in the country.
