The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech MohaBovor Thipadei Hun Manet, said medical and health professionals have had to take over the positions of directors of hospitals and health centers.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet made the recommendation at the inauguration ceremony of "Techo Sen Koh Thom" Hospital on March 13, 2024, in Koh Thom district, Kandal province. He stressed that hospital and health center directors have had to be selected from among health professionals.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stressed that the director have played a very important role in leading medical and health establishments and the selection had to be standardized and properly evaluated.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that improving the well-being of the people has been one of the priority policies of the new government.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also stated that in order to provide good health services, it needed doctors and medical practitioners who have had experience in giving effective and quality medical services to the public.
