The Minister of Health advises all public hospitals and health centers to provide services 24 hours a day

Public hospitals and health centers all over the country have to ensure that their services have been available 24 hours.

Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, made the recommendation when he delivered a lecture during a recent video conference on "Using Cooperation to Achieve Results" held for officials of the Ministry of Health.

The Minister said that improving public health has been one of the three priority strategies set by the Ministry of Health in supporting the implementation of the Royal Government's pentagon strategy in the 7th legislature of the National Assembly.

The Minister of Heath advised health officers at all levels to strengthen cooperation and mutual trust within the units so that all responsibilities would be delivered in a timely, effective and better way.

The Minister also instructed the capital-provincial health officials to conduct thorough inspections in all public hospitals and health centers to ensure that those establishments have provided 24-hour services, especially high-quality medical care to patients at a reasonable price and on timely manner.
