On the morning of January 19, 2022, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, cuts the ribbon to officially open the Travex International Tourism Fair 2022.
The inauguration ceremony of Travex International Tourism Fair 2022 took place at Sokha Beach Hotel, Sihanoukville province, with the participation of many national and international guests.
There are 187 booths at the International Tourism Fair, including 61 international booths and 126 local booths.
The foreign pavilions were from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand.
The inauguration of the International Tourism Fair took place after Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen presided over the opening of the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2022) in Sihanoukville on the evening of January 18. 2022.
The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022, held in Cambodia, is a testament to the efforts of Cambodia, as well as other ASEAN member states, to revitalize tourism after the devastating effects of the COVID-19 crisis.
