H.E Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, expressed his appreciation at a meeting in Phnom Penh on Tuesday April 2 with His Excellency Hean Sahib, Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The senior official of the Ukrainian government landed the Royal Government of Cambodia's great achievements over the last two decades, especially the transformation of Cambodia from a war-torn country into a completely peaceful one,
H.E Hean Sahip welcomed the delegation of the Republic of Ukraine to Cambodia and briefed the delegation on the economic situation of Cambodia, the investment law which has been open and favorable to investors, especially foreign investors, and the first phase pentagonal strategy, launched by the Royal Government in the seventh legislature with the main focus on governance reform and modernization of state institutions.
The Cambodian Minister of Economy and Finance encouraged the delegation of the Republic of Ukraine to study business opportunities in Cambodia and to promote closer cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of information technology, export and import of agricultural products and the use of agricultural machinery.
The meeting was joined by His Excellency Oleksandr GAMAN, Ambassador of Ukraine to Cambodia, with residence in Hanoi. The delegation from Ukraine was in Cambodia to learn the state of mines clearance in the kingdom.
