Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, member of the Supreme Privy Council to the King and Member of Parliament of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has urged authorities at all levels and stakeholders to take tougher measures against online scamming.

Samdech Sar Kheng made the call when he presided over the inauguration ceremony of several facilities at Ang Paon pagoda in Preah Sdech District, Prey Veng Province on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Samdech Sar Kheng said that the development of digital technology has provided both benefits and concerns to all.

Samdech Sar Kheng also gave a number of recommendations to the competent authorities, members of the armed forces, and all citizens to continue to strengthen and maintain peace, political stability, territorial integrity, and national sovereignty, protect the constitutional monarchy, and promote free, multi-party democracy, the rights and freedoms of citizens.

He also called for the strengthening of the rule of law in accordance with the Constitution and the policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia in order to continue to develop the country for progress in all sectors.
