The Ministry of Industry organizes conference to develop productivity experts in the public sector

The National Productivity Center of Cambodia is organizing a three-day conference from April 3 to 5 2025, on developing productivity experts in the public sector.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference, H.E. Phok Sovannarith, Secretary of State, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, said that productivity plays a vital role in supporting national economic growth, the main goal of the Royal Government in increasing public sector productivity is to promote the business environment and attract national and international investors to invest in the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

The conference is the third installment of the Technical Expert Service, which supported by the Asian Productivity Organization.

The program includes visits to key national institutions such as the Council for the Development of Cambodia, the Ministry of Civil Service Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, allowing participants to analyze the practical implementation of their productivity strategies.

The conference also provided a platform for Cambodian public sector productivity experts to learn from international best practices and implement successful strategies to modernize their institutions.

Developing public sector productivity experts is important not only for improving public service delivery, but also increase public trust and ensure that resources are used effectively for national development.
