Mr Janes Imanuel Ginting, the Country Director of World Vision International, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Rural Development, especially H.E Chhay Rithisen, the Minister himself, who is highly committed and has put forward a clear strategy to transform Cambodia’s rural areas into more civilized areas in line with the Royal Government’s policies.

The appreciation was made when Mr. Janes Imanuel Ginting and colleagues to pay a courtesy call on H.E Chhay Rithisen, Minister of Rural Development, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

H.E Chhay Rithsen briefed the Country Director of World Vision International and colleagues about the vision and the first phase Pentagonal Strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia of the 7th mandate headed by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has launched the Pentagonal Strategy Phase 1, which has five mottos: Growth, Jobs, Equity, Efficiency and Sustainability, and five other priority keys including People, Roads, Water, Electricity and Digital Technology, aiming to achieve Cambodia's vision of 2050 as a high-income country.

The Minister also expressed his commitment to strengthen cooperation with other ministries, institutions, and especially with other development partners, including World Vision International, in achieving the Ministry’s goals on rural development.
