Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, member of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the competent authorities of Preah Sihanouk province in maintaining security, public order and social safety for citizens, national and international visitors, and investors with a high sense of responsibility and strong will.

Samdech Sar Kheng made the appreciation when he presided over the ground breaking ceremony of several facilities at Wat Kiri Chulsa Koh Rong in Koh Rong town, Preah Sihanouk Province on April 26, 2025.

Samdech Sar Kheng also thanked the local party working group in Sihanouk province and the local donors for contributing resources and materials to promote Buddhism and many other sectors to develop Preah Sihanouk province.

He said that Cambodia has been a country where the majority of the population has followed Buddhism, that has been designated as the State religion, and supported monasteries as the main venue for the Buddha's teachings and providing education to communities from the past to the present.
