Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, encouraged more cultural exchange and promotion in order to attract more foreign visitors to Cambodia.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet wrote on his official social media post on April 24, 2024 that the organization of cultural exchange and promotion will give Cambodia more potentials to appeal to more international tourists.
The Cambodian Prime Minister made the point when he gave his impression of the martial art show held in the province of Siem Reap.
In order to promote the Visit Siem Reap 2024 campaign and to celebrate the "Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024", Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism, the People’s Administration of Henan Province and the Siem Reap Provincial Administration jointly organized a Cambodia-China Cultural Tourism Exhibition under the theme “When Shaolin Meets Bokator at Angkor Event” at the Northern Part of Bayon Temple in Siem Reap province on Wednesday, 24th .
The event aimed at promoting tourism and cultural destinations together to attract more tourists to Cambodia by exploring the potential of tourism, culture, civilization and customs of the Cambodian people, stressed Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister.
The event was presided over by Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Sok Soken and H.E. Sun Shougang, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Henan Provincial Committee and Deputy Governor of Henan Province.
