Cambodian Prime Minister Presides Over the Opening Ceremony of Cambodia-Australia Business Forum

Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia,presided over the opening ceremony of the Cambodia-Australia Business Forum, which aims to promote business between Cambodia and Australia, especially attracting Australian investors to invest in Cambodia, on March 5th, in Melbourne, Australia.

The Cambodia-Australia Business Forum was organized by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and the Victoria Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of 350 investors and 350 companies.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet recalled about the relationship between Cambodia and Australia, which has been around for about 7 decades. 

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet recalled Australia's role in the peace process in Cambodia and its contribution to Cambodia's development since the Paris Peace Agreement on key areas, including infrastructure, education and agriculture.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also highlighted the potential and opportunities for investment in Cambodia, which led to investors being able to get the best out of their investments through the Royal Government's policy of encouraging and protecting investors, geographical factors and Trade agreements between Cambodia and other countries, which makes the product market larger.

The Cambodian Prime Minister called on Australian investors to come to Cambodia to learn about investment opportunities.
