The Cambodian Prime Minister congratulates the International Mine Awareness Day 2025 and reaffirms commitment to achieving a mines free world

In his official Facebook post, on April, 4th, the Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, has sent a message congratulating International Mine Awareness Day 2025.

The Cambodian Prime Minister said that the International Mine Awareness Day 2025, is organized under the theme “Protecting Lives, Building Peace” with the aim of highlighting the importance and raising awareness of the threat posed by mines and explosive remnants of war to innocent people around the world.

We remembered the heroes and relevant institutions who have made courageous and dedicated efforts in mine action and rescuing victims of mines and explosive remnants of war to ensure the safety and prosperity of people around the world, stressed the Cambodian Prime Minister.

He reaffirms Cambodia’s commitment to achieving a mines free world, overcoming the challenges posed by landmines, and turning our vision into reality to ensure that future generations can live in safety and dignity, free from the threat of landmines and explosive remnants of war.
