The Ministry of Civil Service held a meeting on Monday April 8 to review and discuss measures and action plans to implement key measures to reform public administration. The meeting was held at the Royal School of Administration, and chaired by H.E Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service with the participation of about 100 senior officials from other ministries, institutions and governors of the municipality and provinces. Permanent Deputy Chairman of reform public administration with the participation of Ministers of Ministries, Institutions and Governors of Capital and Provinces with more than 100 members.
After the presentation of the draft measures and action plan to implement the key measures for public administration reform of the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Public Administration Reform Committee, the meeting discussed and improved the draft report and activities that support the implementation of the three key measures in public administration reform. The three measures include improving the recruitment system, strengthening the of institutions, and implementing the motivation system based on achievement.
Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, who is also the Permanent Deputy Chairman of reform public administration, said that public administration reform was not new, and it required regular, more active, more detailed, more efficient and effective approaches to deal with it.
Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many also stressed that participation of all key players was an important input, which was not only for the preparation of measures and action plans for the reform of public administration in the future, but also for the construction and orientation of the direction of Cambodia's public administration in the future.
The Secretariat of the National Committee for Promoting the Implementation of Key Measures for Public Administration Reform is the executive body of reforms of the Royal Government of Cambodia of the 7th Legislature.
