The “Siem Reap Sankran” event in 2024 will feature the launch of 500 drones to create a series of spectacular images above the location in front of the Royal Palace in Siem Reap town, Siem Reap province.
According to Mr. Khom Krem, Director of Administration of the Secretariat of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia in SiemReap Province, the 500 drones will be assembled to create many spectacular images, such as Angkor Wat, Cambodian flag, Rumduolflower, Apsara, the wording Siem Reap, My house and many more related to Khmer traditional culture as well. This unprecedented event in Siem Reap will start from 21:00 to 21:30 on April 14, 2024, in front of the Royal Palace in Siem Reap town, to entertain both national and international tourists with this new and unique scenery.
The event "Siem Reap Sankran" for 2024 is organized by the provincial administration in cooperation with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia in Siem Reap.
The event lasts 4 days from 13-16 April 2024. There are many entertainment programs including Khmer Kite Exhibition, Food Exhibition, Khmer Folk Game, Boat Ride, Traditional Dance Performance, Drum Concert and Classical Dance Performance.
The town of Siem Reap is the venue for the “Siem Reap Sankran” event. This new spectacle has never been seen before in Siem Reap.
