Cambodia and Israel have discussed ways of promoting cooperation on labor

H.E Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 met with Mr. Eli Eliyahu Sneh, General Advisor of the Israeli Embassy in Cambodia and Thailand to discuss the cooperation.

The Minister of Labor and Vocational Trainings briefed the Israeli diplomatic official of the progress of the discussion of the technical working groups of the two sides. The Minister said that a series of measures to boost cooperation have been taken that will benefit both nations by strengthening technical capacity, and work experience.

The Minister highlighted the position of the Royal Government of the seventh mandate on the labor sector, with the Ministry as an executive body to continue to push for deep reforms so that the people of Cambodia could enjoy more benefits. The Minister also instructed the technical working group between the two countries to continue to discuss additional key points so that the people of Cambodia and Israel can get the maximum benefit from this cooperation.

The General Advisor of the Israeli Embassy agreed that only the efforts to make this cooperation successful and smooth for the maximum benefit of both peoples that will further boost economic growth and relations between friendly countries.
