His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni,
King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that the International Day of Buddhism was another epoch in the solar calendar.
According to the message given to his subjects on the International Day of Buddhism on April 8, 2024, the Cambodian Monarch said that the celebration was a unique occasion held for the unity and solidarity among all Buddhists.
His Majesty the King added that the International Day of Buddhism would continue to spread the teachings of the Buddha more widely and actively for the cause of the growth of Buddhism and peace building in Cambodian society and around the world.
