Cambodian Senior Official Meets with French, German and EU Ambassadors to Strengthen Cooperation and Improve the Investment Environment in Cambodia

The Director General of the General Department of Taxation last Friday met with H.E Jacques PELLET, Ambassador of the French Republic to Cambodia, and H.E Stefan Messerer, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Cambodia and H.E Igor Driesmans, Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia.

His Excellency Kong Vibol, who is also Delegate Minister attached to the Prime Minister hoped that the senior diplomatic officials of the European Union would help attract more European investors to came and do business in the kingdom.

The two sides discussed the progress of cooperation in the field of taxation and other fields of cooperation in promoting a culture of taxation, strengthening fiscal compliance and fair competition.

The meeting also discussed the mechanisms currently being implemented to address the difficulties and challenges of investors from France, Germany and other EU countries.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and, in particular, to further improve the investment climate in Cambodia. 

The meeting was also held with the aim of strengthening international cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union to further contribute to improving the investment climate in Cambodia.
