More than 2,000 arts educators and teachers, actors and artists were awarded with orders of distinction and medals for their contribution to the preservation of national culture and tradition.
The honors were presented by Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at a gala dinner hosted by the Prime Minister and his spouse on Thursday April 25, 2024,at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet has followed the footprint of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister and currently President of the Senate in honoring professionals in the preservation and promotion of national arts.
The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts received a total of 2,133 orders of distinction and medals for those who have contributed to the field of culture and fine arts.
